Zilly’s au reminded me that Dirk’s hair is amazing and maybe a little SSJ Trunks?!

Halfway through my workout today I noticed I had accidentally worn Portal socks.

Ahhhhhh…Hamletmachine’s tag about the cupcakes I gave her at Otakuthon reminded me that I totally forgot to post pictures of them! I didn’t actually get any pictures of the finished product…guess I was too excited to meet THE COOLEST PERSON EVAR.
But yeah, imagine the Cain and Abel heads on top of the cupcakes and additional blue/yellow hair streaks.
Here’s the cupcake recipe I worked off of. For sugar I tend to use Wholesome products. They have organic/unrefined icing sugar! :D
I also use coconut oil instead of canola oil.
This is where I got the fondant recipe. (It’s what the Cain and Abel heads are made of!)
If you can’t find any pre-packaged vegan marshmallows, this recipe can be made from scratch using agar powder.
I think I also made a fondant Starfighter logo…but I honestly can’t remember. :P
I wrapped them up all nice and cute with a blubbering fangirlish love-love note, trying to win her heart over with my home cooked bento cupcakes.

This seems all too familiar…

Happy (belated) birthday, Hamletmachine!
Even though I’m not a visual artist, I still can’t help but find tremendous inspiration from both your art and your person as a whole.
I work as a theater technician and from time to time, a lighting designer. I figured since your handle itself comes from a theater background, I could send you my own form of birthday message. Theatrically; through electricity, filters, and data.
What you see here are a couple of lights with templates (a few handmade) and color. I’ve projected them onto the black curtain at the back of my theater. Nothing like a little space glam to brighten up a work space!
Wishing you much love and luck for the upcoming year and onward!
See you later, Wheat.
A few weeks ago my super awesome roommate gave me a book to read called Wheat Belly. I’ve always…
